Ce sont 380 hectares de vignoble et un total de 180 viticulteurs avec six caves : Otero, Verdes, Francisco Gonz\u00e1lez, Andrea Guti\u00e9rrez, El Tesoro et Mitus, qui constituent cette appellation d&rsquo;origine prot\u00e9g\u00e9e (DOP).<\/p>\n<p>Parmi les qualit\u00e9s de cette r\u00e9gion de vins, il faut mettre en avant, dans le domaine \u0153nologique, des vins bas\u00e9s sur la meilleure trilogie vari\u00e9tale rouge :&nbsp;<strong>les c\u00e9pages prieto picudo, tempranillo et mencia<\/strong>, parfaits exemples du Duero et du nord-ouest de la carte viticole.&nbsp;<strong>Les vari\u00e9t\u00e9s grenache et cabernet sauvignon<\/strong>&nbsp;figurent comme compl\u00e9mentaires. De m\u00eame, le c\u00e9page&nbsp;<strong>verdejo et la malvoisie<\/strong>&nbsp;sont deux magnifiques options pour miser sur des blancs de caract\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>Le climat de la r\u00e9gion est continental, extr\u00eame et aride, avec une faible pluviom\u00e9trie : des hivers tr\u00e8s froids et des \u00e9t\u00e9s secs et chauds. Pendant l&rsquo;hiver, la pluviom\u00e9trie est beaucoup plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e.
