Im Mund ist sie weich und kompakt, aber wenig klebrig. Sie hat einen&nbsp;<strong>leicht s\u00fc\u00dflichen Geschmack<\/strong>. Traditionell wurden sie ab Ende des Sommers bis Oktober, manchmal auch bis Dezember mit der Hand geerntet. Die Schoten werden an der Sonne getrocknet, danach trocknen die Bohnen selbst ebenso, bis sie keine Feuchtigkeit mehr beinhalten. Heutzutage haben sich die Anbaupraktiken kaum ver\u00e4ndert.
